Urner Barry reported steady pricing this week. Suppliers are reporting supply challenges, specifically on Atlantic Cod. The cod quota for 2026 has been reduced by 21%.
Pollock:
Urner Barry reports that pricing is steady this week.
Haddock:
Urner Barry reported flat prices this week on Haddock, but suppliers expect future price increases, due to the banning of seafood from Russia by the National Marine Fisheries Service, which went into effect on January 1.
Flounder:

King Crab
(Red & Golden):
Suppliers report mixed pricing, as supplies of Alaskan Red and Golden king crab have begun to enter the marketplace.
Crabmeat
(Blue & Red, Pasteurized):
Urner Barry reported steady pricing this week on Blue Swimming Crabmeat. Suppliers expect a ruling by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, whichresulted in several foreign fisheries being banned from importation of Blue Crabmeat into the United States as of January 1, to put significant pressure on supply levels moving forward. Red Crabmeat supply levels will also be affected by this ruling.
Snow Crab
Alaskan:
The Alaska Department of Fish and Game announced that the quota will almost double, from 4.72 million pounds in 2024-25 to 9.3 million pounds in 2025-26. Suppliers expect the season to start on January 15.
Canadian:
Urner Barry reported stable pricing this week on Canadian Snow Crab. Suppliers report that the supply of 5-8 oz. clusters continues to be extremely tight, and that the supply of 8-up clusters is good.
Scallops
