VEGETABLES
POTATOES
Russets
The russet potato market is mixed this week. Out of Southern Washington-Northern Oregon, 70 ct. and 90 ct. are steady, with moderate supply and moderate demand reported. Out of Idaho, 70 ct. are up, while 90 ct. are steady, with moderate supply and light demand reported.
Reds
The red potato market out of Florida is down, with moderate supply and moderate demand reported. Vendors report that supply has improved slightly, as harvesting has begun in new fields in California and Florida.
Yellows
The yellow potato market out of Florida is down this week, with moderate supply and moderate demand reported.
CABBAGE
Round Green
The cabbage market out of Mexico crossing through Texas is down, with moderate supply and moderate demand reported.
LEAF LETTUCE

The green leaf lettuce market out of Salinas, California, is up this week, with moderate supply and moderate demand reported.
Romaine
The romaine lettuce market out of Salinas, California, is down this week, with moderate supply and moderate demand reported. According to vendors, although supply is increasing, it is not keeping up with demand, which should result in elevated pricing for the next couple of weeks.
ICEBERG
The iceberg lettuce market out of Salinas, California, is down this week, due to improved supply and quality, according to vendors. Moderate supply and moderate demand is reported.
GARLIC
The garlic market is steady this week, with good supply reported. Vendors expect this supply to remain steady until early summer, when the new harvest begins.
ONIONS
The onion market out of Southern Washington-Northern Oregon, Texas and California is steady this week, with moderate supply and moderate demand reported.
MUSHROOMS
The mushroom market is steady this week. Vendors report that mushroom supply is steady, and they expect it to remain that way.
CILANTRO
Out of Oxnard District, California, 60's are down, while 30's are steady, with moderate, improving supply and moderate demand reported.
CUCUMBERS
The cucumber market is down this week. Product out of Mexico crossing through both Texas and Nogales, Arizona, is down, with moderate supply and fairly light demand reported. Product out of Florida is also down, with moderate supply and good demand reported.
CELERY
The celery market out of Oxnard, California, is down this week, with moderate supply and moderate demand reported.
Yellow Squash & ZUCCHINI
The yellow squash market is down this week. Product out of Georgia is down, with fairly light supply and moderate demand reported. Product out of Florida is also down, with moderate supply and fairly light demand reported. The zucchini market is mixed this week. Product out of Georgia is steady, with fairly light supply and moderate demand reported, while product out of Florida is down, with moderate supply and fairly light demand reported.
GREEN BEANS
The green bean market is mixed this week. Round green beans out of Florida are up, with moderate supply and moderate demand reported, while Round green beans out of Mexico crossing through Nogales, Arizona, are down, with light supply and moderate demand reported. Vendors report that supply out of the Eastern United States is starting to tighten up, as growers begin to transition from Florida to Georgia, and that there are some quality issues out of Mexico, due to weather.

The green bell pepper market out of Mexico crossing through Nogales, Arizona, is down, with fairly heavy supply and light demand reported.
Red
The red bell pepper market out of Mexico crossing through Nogales, Arizona, is down this week, with fairly heavy supply and light demand reported.
Hot
The hot pepper market out of Mexico is mixed this week. Poblanos are up, while Anaheims, Jalapeños and Serranos are down, with light supply and good demand reported.
CARROTS
The carrot market out of California is steady, with moderate supply and moderate demand reported.
GREEN ONIONS
The green onion market out of Mexico crossing through California and Arizona is down this week, with moderate supply and fairly light demand reported.
CAULIFLOWER
The cauliflower market out of Salinas, California, is down significantly this week, with moderate supply and moderate demand reported. According to vendors, warmer weather has resulted in larger sizes and increased supply.
ASPARAGUS
The asparagus market is mixed this week. Product out of Mexico is steady, with moderate supply and moderate demand reported, while product out of Peru is up, with fairly light supply and fairly good demand reported.
BROCCOLI
The broccoli market out of Salinas, California, is up this week, with moderate supply and moderate demand reported.
TOMATOES
Rounds
The Round red tomato market out of Mexico crossing through Texas is down, with moderate supply and moderate demand reported. Vendors report that due to elevated pricing for Rounds, some customers are substituting with Roma tomatoes.
Romas
The Roma tomato market out of Mexico crossing through Texas is up, with moderate supply and fairly good demand reported.
Grape & Cherry
The Cherry tomato market out of Florida is down this week, with light supply and light demand reported, while the Grape tomato market out of Mexico crossing through Texas is up, with moderate supply and moderate demand reported.

The apple market is mixed this week. Out of Washington, Fuji, Honeycrisp, Golden Delicious and Pink Lady/Cripps Pink are all up, while Gala, Granny Smith and Red Delicious are steady, with moderate supply and good demand reported.
Pears
The D'Anjou pear market out of Washington is down this week, with moderate supply and moderate demand reported.
CITRUS
LEMONS
The lemon market out of California-Arizona is steady this week, with moderate supply and moderate demand reported.
LIMES
The lime market is down this week. Out of Mexico crossing through Texas, 150's, 200's and 250's are all down, with moderate supply and moderate demand reported. Vendors report that demand has decreased following Cinco de Mayo, and supply has increased due to good harvests.
ORANGES
The Valencia market out of California, and the Navel market out of California and Arizona, are steady this week, with moderate supply and moderate demand reported.
BERRIES
STRAWBERRIES
The strawberry market is mixed this week. Product out of California is down, while product out of Mexico crossing through Texas is steady, with heavy supply and light demand reported.
GRAPES
The grape market is down this week. Out of Chile imported through Philadelphia, White Seedless and Red Seedless are down, with moderate supply and moderate demand reported.

The pineapple market is steady this week. Out of Central America imported through Philadelphia, 5, 6, 7 and 8 counts are all steady, with light supply and good demand reported.
BANANAS
The banana market remains steady, with good supply and good quality reported.
AVOCADOS
The avocado market is down this week. Out of Mexico 40's, 48's, 60's and 70's are all down, with moderate supply and light demand reported. Vendors report that inventories following Cinco de Mayo are strong.

The cantaloupe market is mixed this week. Out of Mexico crossing through Nogales, Arizona, 9 ct. are up, while 12 ct. are down, with moderate supply and light demand reported.
HONEYDEWS
The honeydew market is mixed this week. Product out of Mexico crossing through Nogales, Arizona, is steady, with moderate supply and moderate demand reported, while product out of Central America imported through Florida is down, with fairly heavy supply and moderate demand reported.
