Vegan Beurre Blanc Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 T
    Cross Valley Farms® Peeled Shallots, minced
  • .5 c
    Dry White Wine
  • 2 T
    Rykoff Sexton® Meyer Lemon Juice
  • 6 T
    Glenview Farms® Non-Dairy Butter, cut into 1" pieces
  • Monarch® Ground Black Pepper, to taste
  • Monarch Coarse Ground Kosher Salt, to taste

Preparation

  1. Add white wine, lemon juice and shallots to a heavy-bottomed saucepan. Bring to a boil, lower to simmer and reduce liquid by half. Remove from heat.
  2. Use a whisk to stir. While stirring, add pieces of butter to the reduction. Working quickly, add one piece at a time until melted and emulsified.
