Toasted Garlic & Cilantro Yuca Fries

Ingredients

  • 6 oz.
    Chef's Line® Yuca Fries
  • 1 oz.
    Cross Valley Farms® Whole Peeled Garlic, slivered
  • 3 oz.
    Glenview Farms® Unsalted Whole Butter
  • 2 oz.
    Cross Valley Farms Washed and Trimmed Cilantro, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp.
    Monarch® Kosher Salt
  • 1/4 tsp.
    Monarch Ground Black Pepper
  • 2 wedges
    Cross Valley Farms Fresh Lime, cut into wedges

Preparation

  1. Preheat deep fryer to 350°F and prepare yuca fries according to package instructions.
  2. Heat a sauté pan over medium low heat, add butter and garlic, allowing garlic slivers to toast until lightly golden brown. Stir in cilantro.
  3. Gently stir yuca fries into butter mixture, season with salt and pepper and toss to combine. 
  4. Plate yuca fries and garnish with extra cilantro and fresh lime wedges.
