Three Cheese Ropa Vieja Tacos

Ingredients

  • 2 c
    Chef's Line® All-Natura*l Cuban-Inspired Ropa Vieja
  • 2 c
    del Pasado® Shredded Mexican-Style Three Cheese Blend
  • 6-8 ea.
    del Pasado Flour Tortilla
  • .25 oz.
    Cross Valley Farms® Cilantro
  • 2 ea.
    Fresh Lime, cut into wedges
  • 1 ea.
    del Pasado Avocado Halves
  • 3 oz.
    Monarch® Pickled Red Onion, drained
  • 3 oz.
    Glenview Farms® Sour Cream

Preparation

Warm the Ropa Vieja:

Heat the Ropa Vieja in a skillet over medium heat with the juices until hot, stirring occasionally.

Assemble the Tacos:

  1. Warm the tortillas in a skillet or flat top.
  2. Place a portion of the hot Ropa Vieja on each tortilla.
  3. Sprinkle the Three Cheese Blend over the meat.
  4. Garnish with fresh Cilantro and a squeeze of Lime or Pickled Red Onion. 

Add optional toppings like sliced avocado or sour cream if desired.

Serve: Serve the tacos with your favorite side dishes and enjoy!
