Ingredients

  • 6 oz.
    Cross Valley Farms® Shaved Brussels Sprouts
  • 1 ea.
    Chef's Line® All Natural* Smoked Chicken Sausage
  • 2 oz.
    Cross Valley Farms® Red Onion
  • ½ oz.
    Candied Pecan
  • 1 tsp.
    Monarch® Kosher Salt
  • ½ tsp.
    Monarch® Coarse Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp.
    Roseli® 75/25 Oil Blend

Preparation

  1. Grill the Chef's Line All Natural* Smoked Chicken Sausage to an internal temperature of 165°F.
  2.  Remove and allow to rest. 
  3. Flash fry the Brussels sprouts in a deep fryer at 350°F for 3-4 minutes. Remove and toss in a bowl with kosher salt and coarse black pepper.
  4. Finely shave the red onion, and lightly sauté on a flattop. 
  5. Slice the smoked chicken sausage, and combine with the sautéed red onions and crisp Brussels sprouts.
  6. Serve in a small cast-iron skillet, and garnish with candied pecans.
