Ropa Vieja Tacos

Ingredients

  • 5 oz.
    Chef's Line® All Natural* Cuban-Inspired Ropa Vieja
  • 23 oz.
    del Pasado® 6" White Corn Tortillas
  • 1 oz.
    Monarch® Pickled Red Onion
  • 1 T
    Rykoff Sexton® Key Lime Juice
  • 4 oz.
    Cross Valley Farms® Shredded Red Cabbage
  • 1 T
    Monarch Sriracha Hot Honey
  • .5 T
    Roseli® 75/25 Olive Oil Blend
  • .5 tsp.
    Monarch Kosher Salt
  • .25 tsp.
    Monarch Black Pepper

Preparation

  1. Heat Ropa Vieja according to package instructions. Shred and keep warm until plating.
  2. Drain liquid from Pickled Red Onions. Store in cold storage until ready to plate.
  3. Wash and shred Red Cabbage. To enhance flavor, add in Sriracha Hot Honey, Lime Juice, Olive Oil, Salt and Pepper. Hold in cold storage until ready to plate.
  4. Heat Corn Tortillas and place onto a plate. Top with Shredded Ropa Vieja, Shredded Cabbage and Pickled Red Onion
