Preparation
Cook the Sausage: Preheat your grill to medium heat. Cook the sausage until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F, ensuring it is fully cooked. Add Vegetables: Once the sausage is cooked, add the onion and pepper blend to the grill. Sauté until the vegetables are tender. Add minced garlic and marinara sauce to the sausage and vegetable mixture. Stir well and heat until everything is hot and bubbly.
Assemble the Grinders: To build your grinders, place the sausage and vegetable mixture in a sub roll. Top generously with sliced low-moisture whole milk mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle some grated Parmesan cheese over the top for added flavor.
