Mussels and Clams in Red Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

  • 8-10 ea.
    Harbor Banks® Mussels
  • 8-10 ea.
    Harbor Banks Clams
  • 4 oz.
    Chicken or Fish Stock
  • 6 oz.
    White Wine
  • 2 T
    Butter
  • 1/2 tsp.
    Fresh Thyme, minced
  • 1 T
    Garlic, minced
  • 1 T
    Shallot, minced
  • 4 oz.
    Roseli® Marinara
  • ¼ ea.
    Chef's Line® Baguette, torn or sliced and toasted

Preparation

Sauté the garlic, shallot, and thyme in butter until fragrant.

Add white wine and stock, stir to combine, bring to a simmer.

Add the Harbor Banks Mussels and Harbor Banks Clams to the skillet. Steam for 5–7 minutes, or until the shells open.

Stir in the Roseli Marinara Sauce and simmer until heated through.

Transfer the mussels and clams to a serving bowl, pouring the red sauce over the top. Serve with the toasted baguette on the side for dipping.
