Ingredients

4 oz.Roseli® Penne Pasta, cooked al dente

1 ea.Chef's Line® All Natural* Uncured Smoked Chicken Sausage

½ cupBroccoli Rabe, blanched and cut 1" pcs.

½ cupWild Mushrooms, sliced

2 oz.Roseli® Romano Cheese, grated

½ tbsp.Rykoff Sexton® Extra Virgin Olive Oil

4 oz.Glenview Farms® Heavy Cream

1 tbsp.Shallot, chopped
-
1 tsp.Lemon Zest
-
1½ tsp.Lemon Juice

Salt and Black Pepper, to taste
Preparation
- Grill smoked chicken sausage, and slice into .25"-thick bias "coins;" hold hot.
- In a hot sauté pan, add oil, mushrooms and shallots, and lightly brown. Add broccoli, smoked chicken sausage, lemon, and finish with heavy cream.
- Bring sauce to a simmer, and then add cooked pasta and romano**
- Reserve small amount for garnish, and heat through.
- Season and garnish with reserved Romano and charred lemon slice.
