Italian Sausage Burger with Boursin and Wilted Garlicky Spinach

Ingredients

  • 1 ea.
    Chef's Line® Italian Sausage Burger
  • 2 slices
    Cross Valley Farms® 1/4" Sliced Red Onion
  • 1 tsp.
    Monarch® Chopped Garlic in Oil
  • 8 oz.
    Cross Valley Farms Baby Spinach
  • 1 oz.
    Boursin Cheese
  • 1 each
    Hilltop Hearth® Potato Bun
  • 3 oz.
    Chef's Line All Natural Fries, fried and kept hot
  • 1 oz.
    Monarch Kosher Salt

Preparation

  1. Preheat grill or griddle to medium high.
  2. Grill burger, flipping halfway through cooking time, until the internal temperature reaches 165℉. Top with cheese.
  3. Rub a little oil on the onion slices and grill alongside the burger until tender and lightly charred in spots. Grill cut sides of bun until lightly toasted.
  4. Heat a medium sauté pan over medium heat. Add garlic in oil and spinach, turning to coat in oil, and cook until wilted but still retaining bright green color. Add a spoonful of water to help speed cooking. Season with salt, remove from pan and blot on a paper towel.
  5. Assemble burger with spinach, grilled onion, burger and cheese, and serve with fries.
