1-1/2 oz.Redwood Empire Lost Monarch Whiskey

1/2 oz.Cardamaro

1/2 oz.Giffard Caribbean Pineapple liqueur

1/2 oz.Lemon juice

1/2 oz.Honey

2 dashesCandy cap mushroom tincture, recipe follows

2 dashesThai chili tincture, recipe follows

Cinnamon stick and star anise, for garnish
Preparation
Combine all ingredients, except garnish, in a shaker tin and fill with ice. Shake until well chilled. Strain into cobbler glass filled with crushed ice. Top with additional crushed ice. Garnish.
To make candy cap mushroom tincture: in a quart container, combine 1 cup dried candy cap mushrooms and Spyritus Rectifikowany (Polish rectified spirit), poured to a level to fill the container. Steep for 24 hours, strain and store.
To make Thai chili tincture: in a quart container, combine dried Thai chilies (enough to fill the container) and Spirytus Rektyfikowany, poured to a level to cover chilies. Steep for 24 hours, strain and store.
