Croissant Beignet Waffles with Praline Sauce

Ingredients

  • ½ c
    Brown Sugar
  • 2 oz.
    Glenview Farms® Unsalted Butter
  • 4 oz.
    Glenview Farms® Heavy Cream
  • ¼ c
    Granulated Sugar
  • ¼ tsp.
    Kosher Salt
  • 1 tsp.
    Vanilla Extract
  • ¾ c
    Toasted Pecans, chopped
  • 3 ea.
    Beignets

Preperations

 

1.      In a heavy-bottom saucepan, heat butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar and  salt until melted and bubbling. 

2.        Slowly whisk in cream and simmer 4–5 minutes over low heat. 

3.        Stir in vanilla and toasted pecans; set aside. 

4.        Thaw beignets per instructions. 

5.        Heat waffle iron and prepare batter according to manufacturer instructions. 

6.        Top finished waffles with praline sauce and serve.
