Ahi Tuna Cones

Ingredients

  • 5 ea.
    Cross Valley Farms® Jicama Tortilla
  • 3 ounces
    Harbor Banks® Yellowfin Tuna Loin, minced
  • 1 oz.
    Soy Sauce
  • .25 oz.
    Cross Valley Farms Limes, juiced
  • .25 oz.
    Cross Valley Farms Fresh Chive, minced
  • .25 oz.
    Cross Valley Farms Serrano Peppers, minced
  • as needed
    Monarch® Black Sesame Seeds, toasted

Preparation

  1. In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, lime juice, chives and serrano peppers.  Mix until dressing is fully combined.
  2. Add minced tuna to soy dressing and mix thoroughly.
  3. To cut the jicama, place your knife in the center circle and cut once slice to the right. Do not cut in half.  
  4. Bring the cut ends together and create a cone.  
  5. Place the jicama cone inside a shot glass and fill with the seasoned tuna mixture.
  6. Garnish tuna with black sesame seeds.
