Giving Kitchen was founded by Jen Hidinger-Kendrick after her husband, Atlanta chef Ryan “Hidi” Hidinger, was diagnosed with terminal cancer. The James Beard Award–winning nonprofit provides emergency financial assistance and stability resources to foodservice workers nationwide during times of crisis.
