Yellow Onions, Jumbo
Delivering the best in fresh produce, our Cross Valley Farms® Jumbo Yellow Onions are picked at optimal time to ensure quality. Picked from the spring and summer crop, these onions have thin, light-colored skin and are often sweeter and milder than storage onions. These jumbo yellow onions have a diameter over 3 inches, and are typically used for onion blossoms, onion rings and any application, as they yield more onion to smaller-sized versions. To keep the flavor strong, prep these yellow onions as close to cooking time as possible. High heat will make the flavor more bitter, so it's best to use at a lower heat when sautéing – or braise, boil, steam, bake, fry or grill to prepare.
