Chef Tom McGinty is the Food Fanatic Chef in Wisconsin, beginning his career with US Foods in 2025. His over 30 years as an Executive Chef includes leading casual and fine dining restaurants, private clubs, and luxury resorts. As Executive Chef for the Florida Department of Agriculture, he travelled the world as a speaker & demonstrator on wide variety of seafood, beef, and produce. Tom served as the Executive Chef and Director of Food and Beverage at Destination Kohler, the Midwest’s only Forbes 5 Star and AAA 5 Diamond resort. He is a graduate of Florida State University and the Pennsylvania Institute of Culinary Arts, has earned professional certificates from The California Sushi Academy and The Court of Master Sommeliers, and is a past board member for the Wisconsin Restaurant Association. Tom lives in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with his wife, Kristen, and their two children.
