Denny is a culinary graduate of Johnson & Wales University and completed his apprenticeship at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. He went on to open Harrah’s Cherokee Casino & Hotel, along with spending most of his culinary career as Executive Chef at Grove Park Inn Resort & Spa in Asheville, NC. Denny subsequently attended Montreat College in Black Mountain, NC, where he earned his Master’s Degree in Business. He holds distinct certifications through The American Culinary Federation of Certified Executive Chefs, Certified Culinary Administrator, and is a member of the American Academy of Chefs. For the past ten years, Denny has supported US Foods as Food Fanatic Chef and as Area Specialist Manager.
