US Foods Scholars Program

Investing in Tomorrow’s Culinary Talent

Since 2017, the US Foods® Scholars program has awarded financial support and professional development to students pursuing careers in the culinary arts, restaurant and hospitality industries. The program aims to inspire the next generation of culinary talent to reach their potential and helps address the talent shortage facing the foodservice industry.

Along with our partners at Scholarship America, we identify deserving candidates who require additional resources to continue their culinary or hospitality journeys.

Each student named a US Foods Scholar receives a $20,000 scholarship to support their education, as well as exclusive opportunities to engage with and learn from US Foods Chefs and professionals. 

 
 

Our US Foods Scholars have gained industry experience participating in US Foods Scoop™ product launches, customer visits, in-kitchen demo days with US Foods Chefs and other exclusive professional development opportunities.
