Ramen Bowl

Ingredients

  • 3 T White or Red Miso
  • 2 ea. Cross Valley Farms® Garlic Cloves, minced
  • .5 Tsp. Fresh Ginger, minced
  • 1 ea. Cross Valley Farms Fresh Shallot, minced
  • 1 T Monarch® White Sesame Seeds
  • 1 T Roasted Sesame Oil
  • 1 T Monarch Granulated Sugar
  • 1 T Sake
  • 1 tsp. Monarch Kosher Salt
  • .25 tsp. Monarch White Pepper
  • Ramen Noodles of Choice

PREPARATION

  1. Place sesame seeds in spice grinder and pulse, leaving some un-ground for texture. 
  2. Heat sesame oil in a medium pot, add garlic, ginger, shallot. Stir-Fry until fragrant. 
  3. Add in miso and stir to combine. Add ground sesame seeds and sugar. Stir to combine. 
  4. Add in sake and broth or water. Taste for seasoning and add salt and pepper, if needed. 

Add in noodles to heat just before service. Garnish with veggies, soft cooked eggs, smoked beef brisket or plant-based meatballs.
