Cross Valley Farms® Baby Kale Trio is a unique blend of baby black kale, baby scarlet kale and wild arugula, and is ideal for operators looking for something different on their plate. While spectacular for salads, this blend also performs magnificently as a cooking vegetable, side dish or garnish. Black kale, sometimes also called Tuscan kale, is a rich, dark green ruffled leaf when mature, and its baby version provides all of its flavor and color in a much more tender bite, while baby scarlet kale provides a uniquely vibrant purple color. These baby leaves are harvested before the plant fully matures, resulting in more tender leaves with a delicate, earthy flavor. Together with wild arugula, this blend of unique baby greens is a great way to differentiate your plate.
