Why IS US FOODS GOING TO Contactless Payments?
The physical handling and transfer of cash and checks at the point of delivery creates a safety risk to associates and customers. By eliminating the exchange of cash and checks, we can enable the following:
- Proper social distancing
- Stopping the spread of germs, virus and disease
- More secure transactions
- Quicker and easier payment processing for our customers
When will contactless payment options go into effect?
On June 15th, 2020, US Foods will stop accepting cash and checks will only be allowed thru mail.

To get started with contactless payment, check out the options below. Your US Foods Sales representative will be there with you, every step of the way, to help ensure a seamless transition and ensure your payments are processed timely.
