Sloppy Tavern Sandwich
Ingredients
- 1 lb. Cattleman's Selection® All Natural* Crumbles® Ground Beef
- 8 oz. Roseli® Tomato Sauce
- 1 T Monarch® Sriracha Hot Honey
- 2 T Monarch Worcestershire sauce
- ½ tsp Monarch Garlic powder
- 4 oz. Diced Onion
- 4 ea. Hilltop Hearth® Potato Hamburger Bun, butter toasted
- 4 oz. Monarch Umami Wing Sauce
- 2 oz. Monarch Crinkle-Cut Dill Pickle Chips, sliced
- to taste Monarch Ground Black Pepper
PREPARATION
- In a rondeau, brown and drain the ground beef. Place beef back into same pot
- In a bowl, add chili sauce, umami wing sauce, hot honey and Worcestershire sauce, and stir well to combine
- Over medium heat, heat the rondeau with beef and add diced onion; sauté until onions are browned
- Pour the sauce over the browned meat, stir to combine, and simmer for at least 10-15 minutes until heated through, stirring occasionally. Reserve and hold hot
- Serve warm on potato hamburger buns or rolls with sliced pickles on top.
