Preparation Instructions

  • Conventional oven: Cook on baking pan covered with aluminum foil or parchment paper and lightly greased with oil or cooking spray. Place oven rack to middle position and preheat to 400°F
  • Roast for about 15 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 145°F. Turn pieces halfway through cooking time for even browning
  • Stove top: Preheat ¼" of oil in non-stick frying pan and add diced belly without overcrowding. Turn pieces for even browning and remove pieces when crisp and golden brown
  • Deep fryer: Preheat fryer to 350°F. Add diced belly to fryer basket and carefully lower into oil, cooking for 3-5 minutes or until crispy and golden brown. Remove from fryer and drain oil for 1 minute.
