||On Friday, April 13, 2018, the CDC issued a warning for chopped romaine Lettuce from Yuma, Arizona growing region due to a potential E. coli O157:H7 contamination. Per the CDC no common grower, supplier, distributor, or brand has been identified. However, out of abundance of caution, US Foods issued a Class 1 Recall on all romaine lettuce (processed and whole head) brands associated with the Yuma Arizona growing region. On Friday, April 20, 2018, the CDC expanded its warning to include all types of romaine lettuce from the Yuma region. The issue was identified during environmental monitoring at Club Chef’s processing facility in Kentucky. Listeria spp. was identified in a specific piece of equipment that removes produce byproduct away from the processing line. While there were no positives associated with the product, the manufacturer elected to conduct a voluntary recall of 2 production dates of a variety of product. They identified one Chef Pierre® Quiche product with various date codes that may be impacted, after their supplier (Del Mar Food Products Corp.) stated that an ingredient manufactured on the same production date tested positive for Listeria monocytogenes.||View|
|5/10/2017||Food Innovation||Food Innovation, a Springs, FL establishment, issued a Class 1 recall on Oysters due to possible Norovirus contamination. All shellfish harvested from 3/15/17 to 4/11/17 from the implicated portion of the Hammersley Inlet growing area is being recalled and the area is closed. Oyster associated Norovirus-like illnesses were reported by the Washington State Department of Health.||View|

|4/26/2017||Wayne Farms||Wayne Farms LLC., of Oakwood, GA issued a Class 1 recall on their Chef’s Line All Natural Fire Grilled Chicken Breast because they may be undercooked. The Saladworks Fully Cooked Flame Grilled Chicken Breast Fillets are also being recalled in relation to this issue. All lot codes and code dates areaffected for both products. The problem was discovered when the firm received multiple customercomplaints that the ready-to-eat chicken products appeared to be undercooked. No injuries have been reported. Nestlé USA is taking this action after several consumers reported that they had found small pieces of glass in some of these products. This is also under the Pacific Cheese Company, Paris Brothers, Rumiano Cheese labels, as well as distributed by R.W.Zant. |2-26-2016||Jack and the Green Sprouts Inc||Jack & the Green Sprout Inc. a River Falls, WI establishment, is issuing a Class1 Recall on Alfalfa and Alfalfa Onion Sprouts due to possible contamination of E.coli O157. This is under a Packer Label, also distributed by Russ Davis Wholesale. Nine illnesses have been reported with all lot codes investigated. The CDC’s PulseNet database is what allowed Minnesota and Wisconsin officials to determine that all nine of the outbreak victims were infected with the same E. coli O157. Sprouts from Jack & The Green Sprouts may be packaged in plastic clamshells with brightly colored round labels on top that note the sprout variety.||View|

Eight illnesses have been reported in Oklahoma and Kansas following an investigation involving the Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE), the Federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA),and the Kansas Department of Agriculture and the Oklahoma Department of Health. The product is under the Vinyard Fruit & Vegetable Co. and Liberty Fruit brands with various lot codes investigated.||View|
