Chana Masala

Ingredients

  • 2.5 lb. Monarch® Green Chickpeas
  • 1/2 c Pacific Jade® Indian Curry Base
  • 4 c Roseli® Crushed Tomatoes
  • 8 c Rykoff Sexton® Basmati Rice, cooked
  • 1/4 c Cross Valley Farms® Chopped Cilantro
  • 8 ea. Chef's Line® Mini Naan

PREPARATION

  1. In a sauce pot, mix (1/2 cup) Indian curry sauce starter with 4 cups concentrated crushed canned tomato and a 1/2 cup water. Bring to a simmer and add green chickpeas. 
  2. Build: Serve over Basmati rice, and garnish with chopped cilantro and garlic ghee warmed naan.
