Cauliflower Vegan Bites
Ingredients
- 1 c Flour
- 1 c Rice Flour or Cornstarch
- 1 tsp. Salt
- ½ tsp. Baking Powder
- ½ tsp. Cayenne Pepper
- 1 c Cold Sparkling Water, or as needed
- 1 head Cauliflower, cored and separated into nugget-like florets
- Neutral-flavored oil, as needed
- Green Onion, chopped, for garnish
- Lime wedges, for garnish
PREPARATION
Combine dry ingredients, and slowly whisk in water to desired consistency. Dip florets into the batter, and fry in oil heated to 350°F to 375°F until golden brown; drain. Sprinkle with green onion, and serve with a lime wedge.
