Cauliflower Vegan Bites


  • 1 c Flour
  • 1 c Rice Flour or Cornstarch
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • ½ tsp. Baking Powder
  • ½ tsp. Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 c Cold Sparkling Water, or as needed
  • 1 head Cauliflower, cored and separated into nugget-like florets
  • Neutral-flavored oil, as needed
  • Green Onion, chopped, for garnish
  • Lime wedges, for garnish


Combine dry ingredients, and slowly whisk in water to desired consistency. Dip florets into the batter, and fry in oil heated to 350°F to 375°F until golden brown; drain. Sprinkle with green onion, and serve with a lime wedge.
