Operators face more challenges than ever: consumer demands have shifted, skilled labor is increasingly hard to find and fast-casual competition has increased demand for convenience. But with these challenges comes opportunity. For our 25th edition of Scoop, we’re celebrating the classics – while elevating them.

By surveying approximately 1,500 consumers and more than 400 operators, we’ve determined consumer preferences and expectations around trying new menu items, as well as the pain points operators experience around menu innovation. We’ve compiled this data into a guide that offers solutions for menu innovation and inspiration – with the casual dining and bar and grill operators specifically in mind.
